Stove Nut Cake

  • 3 cups flour, sifted
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoons nutmeg powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1 1/2 cups raw sugar
  • 2 cups vegetable oil
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 cups walnuts, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cups evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cups almond milk
  • 1/4 cups brandy
  • 1 cup dulce de leche, for decoration
  • 1/2 cups walnuts, finely chopped, for decoration

  • Mix the flour, baking soda, nutmeg, ground cinnamon, and vanilla in a bowl until fully combined. Then, add the sugar, oil, and eggs one by one; mix until well integrated. Add the nuts and fold gently. Set aside.
  • Grease with butter, sprinkle with flour, and line a 10.5” Royal Prestige® Novel Pan with parchment paper, then pour in the nut cake mixture. Cover and cook on the stove over medium-low heat for 45 minutes.
  • Mix the whole milk, evaporated milk, almond milk, and brandy in a bowl. Set aside.
  • Remove the nut cake from the stove pan, unmold onto a cake stand, soak with the three milk mixture, and decorate with dulce de leche and finely chopped nuts.
