In a heatproof bowl, mix the dark chocolate with the butter cold, and melt the chocolate and butter mixture in the microwave for 2 minutes. Set aside until used.
In another bowl and using a hand whisk or a fork, mix the egg with the sugar. Do not beat too much, just incorporate the ingredients, as overmixing could add too much air to the mixture, which is not what we are aiming for.
Add the egg mixture to the melted chocolate and mix; finally, add the flour.
Pour the brownie mixture into a baking tray or container of your choice, sprinkle the chocolate chips, and bake the preparation at 170 °C for 30 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool to room temperature.
For the flan, heat the milk at low temperature (it should be warm), pour and mix the D’Gari® cappuccino-flavored flan. Heat over low heat, stirring constantly until it comes to a boil, and cook for 3 minutes.
Use a square frame approximately 5 cm high and 25 cm in diameter, and cut the brownie; it should fit snugly in the bottom of the frame, it’s okay if you cut a bit off the edges. Next, pour the flan mixture over the brownie and refrigerate until completely set.
Remove the frame from the brownie/flan and cut into 5 by 5 squares or to taste, decorate with D’Gari® chocolate syrup and grated white chocolate.
