1/2 cups whole-wheat flour
1/2 cups flour, white
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 pinch salt
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 cups brown sugar
1/4 cups water
3 eggs
2 cups carrot, grated
1/2 cups walnuts, chopped
1 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon orange zest

Preheat the oven to 180º Sift the flours, cinnamon, baking powder, salt, and sugar. All in the same bowl.
Add the walnuts, honey, vanilla extract, and orange zest. Mix with a spatula until dry.
Add the water and the oil. Set the mixer to low speed, mix.
Add the eggs one by one.
Add the carrot, mix well into the batter. Beat at medium speed.
In the greased and floured baking pan, add the mixture with the help of a spatula.
Bake for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the power of each oven.
