1 cup sugar
1/3 cups vegetable oil
2 tablespoons orange juice
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
2 eggs
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 tablespoons allspice, (if you don't have it, mix pepper, clove, nutmeg, and cinnamon)
1/2 tablespoons salt
3/4 cups flour
1 1/2 cups carrot, grated
1/2 cups walnuts, ground
1 stick cream cheese
1/2 cups icing sugar
4 tablespoons orange sugar, for decoration

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and prepare a cupcake tray with cupcake liners.
In a large bowl, combine the sugar, oil, juice, eggs, and vanilla.
Using a whisk, mix in the flour, baking powder, allspice, salt, carrot, and walnut.
Divide the mixture into the 12 cupcake molds and bake for 25 minutes.
With an electric mixer, blend the powdered sugar with the cream cheese until fluffy.
Allow the cupcakes to cool and decorate with the cream cheese frosting.
