Chai Tea Gelatin

Chai tea is a blend of different spices such as cinnamon, cloves, ginger... and black tea. It can be consumed cold or hot with or without milk or cream; this recipe is presented in the form of a chai latte.

  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cups water, boiling
  • 3 chai latte powder
  • 1/2 cups water, boiling
  • 7 grams unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1 whipped cream, for decoration
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

  • In a bowl, add the gelatin with 1/2 cup of boiling water and stir until the gelatin has completely dissolved. Set aside.
  • Add the chai latte powder or concentrate to a bowl and whisk until the powder has dissolved.
  • Heat the evaporated milk; once hot, add it to the chai latte preparation and stir for 30 seconds.
  • Add the gelatin to the previous mixture and whisk until incorporated.
  • Pour into individual molds and let cool before refrigerating until set.
  • At the moment of serving, decorate with whipped cream and ground cinnamon.
