  • You need to prepare two cakes or sponges..........Cream the margarine by incorporating the sugar. When it is creamy, add the eggs one by one, mixing them in. Add the sifted flour in three portions along with the liquid milk.
  • Grease 2 molds, pour half of the mixture into one.
  • In the remaining half, incorporate the cocoa powder, mixing gently until well combined. Pour into the other mold.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for approximately 45 minutes.
  • While they have cooled, cut each cake in half, resulting in 4 discs. Each disc is measured with the help of something round, it can be a cup for the larger part and a cookie cutter for the smaller circle. With utmost care, spread the dulce de leche on each part so that the discs stick together when alternating the colors. Each layer of discs results in 4, alternating the colors and sticking them with more dulce de leche.
  • Cut squares from paper or cardboard and trim them into a checkerboard shape for decoration. First, dust the entire surface with cocoa powder, and using the cut paper with squares, sift the powdered sugar over it.
