Cheese Cubiletes

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoons salt
  • 120 grams butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup condensed milk, for the filling
  • 1 package cream cheese, for the filling
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence, for the filling
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch, for the filling
  • icing sugar, for decorating
  • strawberries, for decorating

  • Preheat the oven to 190° C
  • On a clean surface, form a volcano with the flour, sugar, and salt. Add the butter and work with a spatula until it forms a sand point. Add the egg and vanilla essence, knead until integrated. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before using it.
  • Form small balls of dough and place them in a cupcake mold, spreading them out to form the base. Refrigerate for an additional 15 minutes.
  • For the filling, blend the eggs with the condensed milk, cream cheese, vanilla essence, and cornstarch.
  • Pour the previous mixture over the butter bases to ¾ of their capacity and bake for 10 minutes. Lower the oven temperature to 180°C and bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes or until the filling is firm and the edges are golden. Cool and decorate with powdered sugar and strawberries.
