This delicious cheesecake has an Oreo cookie crust and is topped with cherries. Everyone I know loves cheesecake; I found this recipe that is a bit out of the ordinary, enjoy!
Mix the Oreo cookies and butter and form a crust in a pie dish. Place this cookie crust in a previously greased springform pan.
Soften the cream cheese and add the sugar, beating with a mixer on medium speed. Add the eggs one by one, beating shortly after adding each. Finally, add the cornstarch, vanilla, and cream. It is not advisable to beat too much at this point as it may cause cracks in the cheesecake.
Pour the cheese mixture over the cookie crust and bake for an hour and a half at 160 degrees Celsius.
Let it cool, unmold, and refrigerate for at least two hours.
