Holiday desserts are among the favorites of many, and undoubtedly, this cherry crown with its creamy filling will be no exception, the perfect dessert to share with family or friends.
570 grams Philadelphia® cream cheese , at room temperature
1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 teaspoons almond essence
2 jars maraschino cherries
500 grams puff pastry
1 egg, for brushing
1 cup powdered sugar, for the glaze
4 tablespoons orange juice, for the glaze

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
For the cheese filling, in a bowl use a spatula to cream the cheese until smooth, add the powdered sugar, and incorporate the almond extract until fully combined. Refrigerate and set aside.
On an absorbent paper, place the cherries and dry them completely.
On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry and cut 15 triangles measuring 10 cm wide by 20 cm long.
On a baking sheet, place the triangles interleaved to form a ring, add the filling, and place the dried cherries, close the ring and brush with egg, bake for 15 minutes until golden and crispy. Let cool.
For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with orange juice.
Pour the glaze into a plastic piping bag and decorate the ring.
