Cherry Clafoutis

Prepare this typical French cherry tart, with its balanced flavor of vanilla and orange, you won't be able to resist its soft consistency. You won't believe how easy it will be to make!

  • 4 San Juan® eggs
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 3/4 cups cow's milk
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter , melted
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 2 cups cherry , halved and pitted
  • powdered sugar, for decoration
  • 3 leaves peppermint, for decoration

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Beat for 5 minutes the Huevo San Juan® pieces with the sugar and vanilla essence until they change color, add the milk, butter, flour, salt, and orange zest. Beat until combined.
  • Place the cherries in a previously floured and greased tart pan, pour the previous mixture.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, let cool.
  • Decorate with powdered sugar and mint.
