150 grams semisweet chocolate, melted in a double boiler
3 cups cow's milk
4 egg yolks
1/2 tablespoons salt
1/4 cups cornstarch
2/3 cups sugar
1/4 cups sugar
5 tablespoons butter
1 1/3 cups María cookies, ground
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
3/4 cups whipping cream

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and place the rack in the center.
In a deep bowl, mix the ground María cookies with 5 tablespoons of butter and 1/4 cup of sugar. With your hands, press the mixture into a pie mold to form the entire base of the pie. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until golden. Remove.
In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, cornstarch, salt, egg yolks, and milk, and cook over medium heat, whisking constantly. Heat until it boils and maintain the boil for 1 minute to thicken the filling.
Strain the filling through a sieve and place it in a large deep bowl. Add the chocolate, butter, and vanilla, and whisk well.
Put the filling in the pie and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Just before serving, whip the cream and use a piping bag to decorate the pie with the cream.
