In a bowl, mix the flour, yeast, salt, and sugar; add the whole milk and the egg. Work until the ingredients are well incorporated, then add the chocolate in small pieces.
Transfer the mixture to a greased bowl and cover, let the dough rest for one hour until it doubles in size. Punch down the dough and roll it out to a thickness of 1.5 cm to form the donuts and cut them. Let the donuts rest again for 15 minutes until they double in size.
To fry the donuts, heat enough vegetable oil in a pot over medium heat. Immerse the donuts in the hot oil and fry for about 5 minutes. Drain excess oil on a paper towel.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and fry the bacon slices until golden brown. Let cool and cut the bacon into pieces.
For the glaze, mix the powdered sugar with the maple syrup until you achieve a semi-thick consistency.
Once the donuts have cooled, glaze them with the mixture you prepared. Add pieces of bacon and dark chocolate.
