  • Fit a bowl over a pot of simmering water, making sure the water doesn’t touch the bottom of the bowl. Place the chocolate in the bowl and stir until fully melted. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Pour melted chocolate into an egg-shaped mold creating a thin layer. Tip the molds upside down and shake the excess chocolate. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until chocolate is firm.
  • Carefully unmold halves and transfer to a platter. Even out edges using a hot plate. Set aside.
  • Working one at a time, fill halves with a tablespoon of cocoa powder and a tablespoon of mini marshmallows.
  • Seal hot chocolate bombs by melting the edges of an empty chocolate half on a hot plate and pressing it to a filled half as shown in the video. Melt chocolate in a warm bath and transfer to a piping bag. Make a striped design using the piping bag and sprinkle Christmas-themed sprinkles on top before chocolate stripes dry.
  • Serve a hot chocolate bomb inside a mug with a jar of hot milk on the side. Pour hot milk over hot chocolate bomb.
