Chocolate Buñuelos

This recipe is for the typical buñuelos that only have sugar on top and nothing inside haha I hope you like it and can make it. You will enjoy it more because it has CHOCOLATE.

  • 2 cups chocolate cake crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa
  • 150 grams bittersweet chocolate, melted
  • 2 tablespoons thick cream
  • 1/3 cups self-rising flour
  • 1/3 cups vanilla pudding, or custard powder
  • 1/4 tablespoons cinnamon powder
  • 3/4 cups cow's milk
  • vegetable oil, for frying

  • Blend or process the cake crumbs with the cocoa, melted chocolate, and cream until achieving a homogeneous texture. Place the mixture in a greased and lined elongated mold, and refrigerate for 2 hours.
  • Meanwhile, to make the batter, blend or process the flour with the custard powder, cinnamon, and milk until well combined. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Cut the chocolate preparation into triangles, dip them in the batter, and fry until golden; drain on paper towels.
