Chocolate-Coated Fritters

  • 1 1/4 cups wheat flour
  • 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups cow's milk
  • 1 liter vegetable oil, for frying
  • 2 tablets bittersweet chocolate, melted
  • 2 tablets white chocolate, melted

  • Heat the oil in a deep saucepan and heat the fritter mold in the oil.
  • In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, oil, vanilla essence, and egg. Gradually add the milk until you obtain a semi-liquid mixture.
  • Strain the previous mixture and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • Introduce the hot mold into the mixture until it reaches ¾ full and immerse it in the oil, flip the fritter with a skewer and let it brown on both sides.
  • Place the fritters on absorbent paper and let them cool.
  • Place the fritters on a rack and add the dark chocolate and coat some in white chocolate.
  • Let them dry and present them in acetate boxes to gift.
