Chocolate Covered Pretzels

Pretzels are a traditional American salty cookie. This cookie makes an excellent dessert for children's parties when covered with chocolate. This recipe is also frequently used for dessert tables at weddings and parties.

  • 500 grams semisweet chocolate
  • 5 cups pretzel
  • sugar, Chocolate chips for decoration

  • In a double boiler, melt the semi-sweet chocolate.
  • Prepare two large baking sheets with a layer of wax paper.
  • Take each pretzel and dip it completely in the chocolate, remove from the chocolate and place on the wax paper.
  • Sprinkle either chocolate chips or sugar crystals on the pretzels for decoration and refrigerate. Remove from the refrigerator 20 minutes before serving.
