  • 1 sprig vanilla essence
  • 400 milliliters cow's milk
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 20 grams butter
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 30 grams flour

  • In a saucepan, put the milk, cocoa, and butter. Split the vanilla bean lengthwise with a sharp knife and remove the black seeds containing all the vanilla flavor. Add the seeds and the vanilla pod to the milk. Bring to a boil, remove from heat, cover, and set aside.
  • Whisk the egg yolks and sugar until fluffy and slightly white, add the flour and whisk a little more. Remove the vanilla pod and gradually add the hot milk to the egg yolks, then return everything to the saucepan over heat. It should come to a boil again while stirring constantly and then turn off the heat. It will have a thick consistency.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and serve in individual plates, refrigerate for 3 hours. Sprinkle with grated chocolate.
