Chocolate Crepes with Mantecado Ice Cream

This is a traditional chocolate crepe recipe from pastry making

  • 500 grams self-rising flour
  • cocoa powder, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 250 grams sugar, white
  • 2 cups cow's milk
  • 3 egg whites
  • ice creams
  • chocolate for hot chocolate

  • Mix all the dry ingredients
  • Once integrated, add the milk and the egg whites
  • Whip until it becomes a liquid mixture and let it rest. Then, in a pan, add the butter and cook. While preparing this recipe, do not take your eyes off it as the cooking is quick
  • Once ready, melt the chocolate and add a bit, then garnish with the ice cream and chocolate once again
