Chocolate Fondue

One of the easiest desserts there is, chocolate fondue is always delicious with chopped fruit and kids love it!

  • 250 balls semisweet chocolate
  • 3/4 glasses whipping cream
  • 2 pieces Frangelico, (optional)
  • 1/4 glasses almonds, or finely chopped walnuts (optional)
  • fruit, in pieces (bananas, pears, strawberries, etc)

  • Heat 1/2 cup of heavy cream in a pot over medium heat until it starts to boil.
  • Remove from heat and add the chocolate in pieces.
  • Let the chocolate melt on its own for 3-5 minutes and then stir with a whisk.
  • Add the liqueur and nuts (if desired) and transfer to a fondue dish over a candle
