Chocolate Mousse

The word Mousse means foam in French. This Chocolate Mousse is made with egg whites and sugar, but there are other variations of the recipe that use different fruits.

  • 200 grams chocolate, for cup
  • 2 tablespoons cow's milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites. Cut the chocolate into pieces and melt it in a double boiler for 5 minutes with the milk and the yolks. Remove from heat and pour it into a deep bowl.
  • Beat the egg whites in another bowl until stiff peaks form and gradually add them to the chocolate carefully until the mousse is formed and there are no traces of the egg whites.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for 3 hours and serve.
