Prepare this classic bakery polvorón with a different touch of table chocolate and walnut flavor! An economical and yielding recipe that your family and friends will love.
In a mixer with the paddle attachment, add the flour, powdered sugar, vegetable shortening, sugar, eggs, Rexal® Baking Powder, and baking soda. Beat until all ingredients are combined and you have a smooth and homogeneous dough.
Place the dough on cling film and wrap it into a roll approximately 10 cm in diameter, then place on a board and freeze for 20 minutes.
Cut slices 2 cm thick and place them on a baking tray, sprinkle with walnuts and bake at 180 °C for 15 minutes. Place on a cooling rack and let cool.
Serve and accompany with a glass of cold milk.
