Swirled Chocolate Brownie

These chocolate brownies are the perfect dessert for any occasion. They are swirled with a mixture of cream cheese and vanilla that makes them delicious. Swirled chocolate brownies are simply delightful.

  • 1 cup bittersweet chocolate, (115 g, for the brownie)
  • 3/4 cups butter, At room temperature. (150 g), add one tablespoon to grease the pan (for the brownie)
  • 1/2 cups sugar, (for the brownie)
  • 2 eggs, (for the brownie)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla essence, one for the brownie and half for the swirl
  • 1 package cream cheese, At room temperature (190 g) (for the swirl)
  • 1 egg yolk, (for the swirl)
  • 4 tablespoons sugar, (for the swirl)

  • Preheat the oven to 160°C. Grease and flour a brownie pan.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the flour, salt, and cocoa. Set aside.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate in 15-second intervals. Once melted, add the butter and sugar and mix well.
  • To the previous mixture, add the eggs, vanilla, and dry ingredients, mixing well. Pour into the pan.
  • In another bowl, mix the cream cheese very well with the egg yolk, sugar, and vanilla. Pour this mixture into a piping bag and place small dollops over the brownie mixture. Reserve a bit in case you need to decorate.
  • With the help of a toothpick, make circles to swirl and mix both preparations. Bake for 35 minutes or until cooked through. Let cool, unmold, and cut into squares.
