Pancake Cake with Milky Way Frosting

This cake recipe is made with pancake flour, it is very easy to prepare and delicious. Ideal for unexpected visits, the best part is that you can have the ingredients at home. The Milky Way frosting adds a surprising touch. EAT WELL

  • 2 cups Gamesa® pancake mix
  • 1 cup cow's milk
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cups milkmaid
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 milky way chocolates

  • Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Beat the cup of butter until softened in an electric mixer. Once it is smooth, add the sugar until well combined.
  • Add the eggs and one cup of flour, let everything incorporate well. Then add the milk and vanilla and let it mix into the batter. Finally, add the other cup of flour and beat until everything is well combined.
  • Grease and flour a cake pan or a bundt pan. Pour the cake mixture into the pan 3/4 full and bake for 30 minutes.
  • While the cake is baking, place the stick of butter and the Milky Ways in a double boiler until completely melted. (Watch it the whole time to prevent the chocolate from burning.)
  • Add the condensed milk and cocoa to the mixture that is in a double boiler and stir until everything is well mixed and has a light brown color (lighter than the first mixture).
  • Remove the cake from the oven and once cooled, pour the chocolate over the cake to make it easier to spread since this frosting is a bit sticky and difficult to handle.
