Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Beat the cup of butter until softened in an electric mixer. Once it is smooth, add the sugar until well combined. Add the eggs and one cup of flour, let everything incorporate well. Then add the milk and vanilla and let it mix into the batter. Finally, add the other cup of flour and beat until everything is well combined.
