Chocolate fritter recipe

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cups Hershey's Natural Cocoa
  • 1/2 cups butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • water, warm
  • vegetable oil, to fry the fritters

  • 2 Hershey's Dark Chocolate Pastry Bar

  • With the help of a mixer, mix the flour, Hershey's Cocoa Natural, butter, egg, sugar, baking powder, and salt. When you obtain a homogeneous dough, gradually pour in the warm water until you achieve a smooth dough. Let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • Form small balls, sprinkle with flour, and use a rolling pin to flatten the dough until thin.
  • Fry the chocolate fritters one by one in a pot with enough oil over medium-high heat. When golden brown, remove from the pot and coat with sugar and cinnamon.
  • Melt the Hershey's® dark chocolate baking bars in a double boiler and set aside.
  • Serve the chocolate fritters on a platter and accompany with the chocolate dip.
