500 milliliters cow's milk
125 grams sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
50 grams cornstarch
2 egg yolks
150 grams couverture chocolate, semisweet

Blend the milk, sugar, vanilla, cornstarch, and egg yolks.
Pour the mixture into a pot and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with a whisk.
When it starts to thicken, lower the heat and continue whisking until you can see the bottom of the pot.
Finely chop the chocolate, add it to the hot custard, and stir until the chocolate is dissolved.
It can be consumed hot or very cold.
