Susi Truffles

  • 500 grams María cookies
  • 100 grams dark chocolate
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 ounces cognac
  • 50 grams unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cups cow's milk
  • 1 cup cocoa powder

  • Crush the cookies.
  • Heat the milk with the butter in a pot. Once it boils, remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate, stirring until fully combined.
  • Add the egg yolks while stirring and add the cognac. Whip the egg whites until stiff and fold them into the mixture.
  • Add the mixture to the crushed cookies and mix well.
  • Let it cool and form small balls, rolling them in cocoa powder.
