Chocolate Turtles

These chocolate turtles are the perfect dessert to share! Plus, they have the unique touch of Hershey's Zero Sugar, they are irresistible!

  • 14 dates, pitted, soaked in hot water
  • 4 tablespoons coconut oil, melted
  • 6 tablespoons Hershey's Natural Cocoa
  • 1 tablespoon clear vanilla
  • 50 walnuts
  • 2 Hershey's Zero Sugar Pastry Bar

  • Blend the dates, coconut oil, Hershey’s Cocoa Natural, and vanilla in a food processor until a dough forms. Set aside.
  • Toast the nuts in a pan over medium heat until they take on color and then let them cool.
  • Shape the truffle dough into balls, insert 5 nuts to form the turtles, press the center slightly, and refrigerate for 5 minutes.
  • Melt the Hershey's Zero Sugar baking bars in a double boiler and set aside.
  • Dip in the chocolate, but trying not to cover the nuts. Let the chocolate turtles rest in the refrigerator for another 5 minutes.
