French Chocolate Volcano

Delicious French chocolate volcano recipe, it is my all-time favorite dessert, I love to cook and eat this cake.

  • 250 grams 70% cocoa chocolate
  • 175 grams lard
  • 75 grams flour
  • 125 grams sugar
  • 5 eggs

  • Melt the chocolate broken into pieces along with the butter in a double boiler.
  • Place the flour and powdered sugar in a bowl, add the eggs and mix until you obtain a frothy mixture. Pour the melted chocolate and butter into this mixture.
  • Grease individual rings of 6 cm in diameter and place them on a tray covered with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
  • Fill the molds almost to the top. When it's time to sit at the table, preheat the oven to almost 200ºC.
  • Bake them for 8 or 9 minutes before serving the dessert. They should remain liquid inside. Serve them either alone or with a scoop of ice cream.
