Delicious churros with cajeta recipe. They are ideal for finishing a wonderful family meal. Try it, the churros are made with Harina Gamesa®, served sprinkled with sugar, and accompanied by cajeta! EAT WELL
In a saucepan, mix the flour, water, butter, and salt.
In a separate pot or pan, heat the oil until it starts to boil.
Add the Harina para Hot Cakes Gamesa® to the previous mixture and beat with a mixer until the mixture is smooth and lump-free.
Fill a piping bag with the mixture.
With a little bit of dough, check if the oil is hot; if it’s too hot, the dough will burn, and if it’s still cold, the dough won't start bubbling. So if it’s cold, heat it a little more, and if it’s too hot, let it cool down a bit so the churros don't burn.
Once the oil is at the desired temperature, form the churros with the piping bag and drop them into the pot with hot oil.
Wait until the churros are golden brown, without letting them burn.
On a plate with a napkin, place the churros that are ready to remove excess oil.
Sprinkle sugar on top of the churros; you can also coat the churros in sugar, depending on how much you want.
Let cool and serve with cajeta.
