150 grams butter, cut into pieces
1 1/4 cups sugar
3/4 cups cocoa
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
2 eggs
1/3 cups flour, plus one tablespoon
1 cup walnuts, chopped

Low
Place the oven rack at the bottom and preheat to 325 ºF.
Line an 8 x 8 square pan with aluminum foil.
Melt the butter until it turns dark brown, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat, immediately add sugar, cocoa, water, vanilla, and salt.
Mix perfectly.
Let cool for 5 minutes. (the mixture will be hot)
Add the eggs one at a time, beating after each addition.
When the mixture is thick and shiny, add the flour and mix.
Beat at least 60 times.
Incorporate the walnuts.
Transfer to the pan.
Bake for 25 minutes.
Let cool on a rack and cut into 16 squares.
