Coconut cookies

These Coco Biscuits are prepared with a delicious dough that gives them a touch of tropical flavor.

  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 tablespoons salt
  • 1 cup butter, (2 bars)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons cow's milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1 1/2 cups grated sweet coconuts

  • Preheat the honor to 180 degrees centigrade.
  • In a deep bowl beat the flour, baking powder and salt.
  • In another deep bowl whisk the butter and sugar with an electric mixer until the mixture is spongy. Add the eggs, milk and vanilla and reduce the speed to low to add the flour.
  • Once the dough is well mixed add the coconut and finish kneading with your hands.
  • Take two greased baking trays and with a spoon make round biscuits with the dough.
  • Bake cookies for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Remove the cookies from the oven and with a spatula pass the cookies to a grate to cool.
