Peel the bananas and cut them into 2-centimeter disks. Place them spread out on a large plate and freeze for one or two hours.
Put the frozen bananas in the blender or food processor and puree until the mixture is creamy and smooth, add the peanut butter and mix with the puree.
Serve immediately if you want a soft-serve ice cream, if you prefer a firmer ice cream, leave it in the freezer for a few hours.
