Homemade banana and strawberry ice cream helps prevent cramps due to the potassium content in bananas. Almonds provide a good source of calcium, which helps strengthen bones. And strawberries are a powerful antioxidant.
Peel the banana and cut it into thirds. Place it in a sealed container and freeze for 4 hours.
Place the strawberries and frozen banana in the Evenflo Advance® blender jar, set the jar on the processor base, and twist until secured. Press the power button for 10 seconds.
Use a spoon to help mix both fruits, add the almond milk. Press the power button again in 10-second intervals or until everything is well combined.
Add the sugar and process again until you achieve a creamy consistency.
Pour the mixture into a bowl and add the chocolate chips. Stir well and cover with non-stick paper. Freeze for 4 hours or until firm, stirring vigorously every half hour by removing the bowl from the freezer.
