Profiteroles are an Italian dessert that will impress all your guests. This recipe fills them with coffee ice cream and accompanies them with a delicious chocolate sauce.
200 grams semisweet chocolate, (for the chocolate sauce)
1/2 teaspoons liquid vanilla , (for the chocolate sauce)

Prepare a baking sheet by chilling it in the freezer, then place 18 scoops of coffee ice cream and freeze until serving the dessert.
Preheat the oven to 210 degrees Celsius with the rack in the center.
Place the butter, salt, and water in a pot and heat over medium heat until the butter melts. Add the flour and mix well with a wooden spoon. Pour into a deep dish.
Add the eggs one by one and incorporate with an electric mixer.
Place the dough in a piping bag and make 18 profiteroles on a baking sheet. Each profiterole should be approximately 3 cm wide and 1 cm high.
Bake for 25 minutes or until slightly golden. Insert a toothpick into each profiterole and return to the oven to dry with the door slightly open for another 5 minutes.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
To make the sauce, melt the sugar over medium heat until it becomes caramel, add the cream, mix, and heat until the caramel has dissolved.
Remove from heat, add the chocolate and vanilla, and mix until the chocolate is melted.
Serve the profiteroles by cutting them horizontally and placing a scoop of coffee ice cream inside. Drizzle one or two tablespoons of chocolate sauce over the profiterole.
