Pistachio Vanilla Mousse

This simple pistachio mousse dessert with vanilla is easy to prepare. It works well as a light dessert for a summer night and can be served in martini glasses for a stylish presentation.

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 135 grams cream cheese
  • 3/4 cups chantilly cream
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cups pistachios, ground
  • 2 tablespoons condensed milk
  • pistachios, chopped for garnish

  • In a mixer, beat the cream cheese and vanilla at medium speed until fluffy.
  • Gently fold in the whipped cream (previously) and set aside.
  • Beat the egg whites with the sugar in the mixer at high speed and fold with a spatula into the cheese mixture. Finally, gently add the ground pistachios and sweetened condensed milk.
  • Serve the portions of the mousse in martini glasses and garnish with chopped pistachios on top.
  • Refrigerate for 2 hours until serving.
