Coffee Cake

Delicious coffee cake also known as tiramisu. It is a typical Italian dessert served cold. It is easy to prepare and its fragrant coffee flavor will conquer even the most discerning palate.

  • 1 tablespoon instant coffee
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cups icing sugar, or powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces whipped cream, COOL WHIP whipped topping, thawed
  • 32 vanilla cookies, NILLA wafers type

  • DISSOLVE the coffee well in the hot water. Add it to the cream cheese in a medium bowl, beating it with a whisk until well combined. Add the sugar; mix it well. Fold in the topping.
  • PLACE 16 cookies at the bottom of an 8-inch square dish; spread half of the cream cheese mixture on top. Repeat the layers. Refrigerate the dessert for several hours.
  • Use grated chocolate to sprinkle over the dessert at the time of serving.
