Coffee Pot Tiramisu

Because we love tiramisu, we have created this version for you made with a creamy filling of mascarpone cheese and ladyfingers soaked in a delicious coffee that will remind you of grandma's house.

  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise pod
  • 1 piloncillo
  • 1/4 cups coffee, ground
  • 3 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1/2 cups icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • ladyfingers
  • cocoa powder

  • Heat the water over low heat, add the cinnamon, star anise, and piloncillo, boil, and turn off.
  • Add the ground coffee, cover, and let it steep for 10 minutes.
  • Beat the mascarpone cheese with sugar and vanilla extract. Set aside.
  • Dip the ladyfingers in the coffee and place them in a baking dish to form a layer; using a spoon, add the cheese, and repeat the process until the dish is full, sprinkle with cocoa powder.
  • Refrigerate for 2 hours before cutting, enjoy with a glass of milk.
