Italian Tiramisu

Tiramisu very easy to prepare and delicious. This traditional Italian coffee-flavored dessert will become one of your favorites if it isn't already. It's a dessert that uses ladyfingers, cream cheese, coffee, and a bit of amaretto. It's sensational.

  • 1 cup condensed milk, (its use will be divided into two)
  • 1/2 cups water
  • 3 tablespoons amaretto
  • 7 teaspoons instant coffee
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, Philadelphia type
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 1 1/2 cups whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 box ladyfingers, Ladyfingers
  • 1 chocolate, for grating

  • Heat ½ cup of the sweetened condensed milk and the water in a small pot, stirring occasionally over medium heat until it comes to a gentle boil. Remove from heat and add the amaretto and coffee, mixing quickly until dissolved. Set aside.
  • Mix the cream cheese, the remaining sweetened condensed milk, and the vanilla in a small bowl until smooth.
  • Whip the heavy cream and sugar to stiff peaks and gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture using a wooden spoon.
  • Lightly soak the ladyfingers in the coffee mixture without letting them soak too much, and arrange half of them to cover the bottom of a dish. Pour half of the cream mixture over the ladyfingers, covering them evenly. Place a new layer of lightly soaked ladyfingers over the mixture. Pour the rest of the mixture over the second layer of ladyfingers
  • Grate the chocolate and sprinkle it over the top layer of the mixture.
  • Let rest for at least 1 hour in the refrigerator (ideally 2 hours).
