  • 4 cups flour, for the cookies
  • 1/3 cups cornstarch, for the cookies
  • 1 teaspoon REXAL® baking powder, for the cookies
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder, for the cookies
  • 1 cup butter, for the cookies
  • 1/2 cups sugar, for the cookies
  • 1/2 pinches salt, for the cookies
  • 1 egg, for the cookies
  • 1/2 tablespoons liquid vanilla D'Gari®, for the cookies
  • 1 cup icing sugar, for the icing
  • 4 tablespoons lime juice, for the icing
  • red food coloring
  • green food coloring
  • rainbow sprinkles

  • Combine the flour, cornstarch, REXAL® baking powder, ground cinnamon, and salt in a bowl. Mix until well combined and set aside.
  • Cream the butter, sugar, and salt. Gradually add the D’Gari liquid vanilla and the egg, mixing continuously. Finally, incorporate the flour mixture gradually and beat until well combined. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Roll out the dough on a flat surface with a little flour and cut the cookies with cookie cutters. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake at 180 °C for 15 minutes.
  • Mix the powdered sugar and lemon juice, divide, and color with food coloring. Decorate the Christmas cookies with the icing and store them in cellophane bags.
