Cookie Ice Cream

This ice cream recipe is very easy and quick, as you can find the ingredients at any store.

  • 900 milliliters whole milk
  • 80 grams cornstarch
  • 432 grams María cookies, 3 packs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cups water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 tablespoons nutmeg
  • 3 plastic bags

  • Boil the milk with the cinnamon sticks.
  • Mix the cornstarch with the water in a container; once well combined, add it to the boiling milk.
  • Let the mixture cool for at least 2 to 3 hours.
  • Blend the previous warm mixture with the cookies, sugar, vanilla, teaspoon of salt, and nutmeg.
  • Strain the mixture and package it in bags. Place the bags in the freezer.
  • Wait 20 to 30 minutes. When the ice cream in the bags has solidified on one side, turn them over so that it solidifies completely.
