  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder, royal
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 cup butter, (2 bars)
  • 3/4 cups brown sugar
  • 3/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups semi-dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup walnuts, in pieces

  • Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius
  • In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • In an electric mixer, beat the butter, sugar, and vanilla until creamy.
  • First, add the eggs to the butter mixture, then gradually add the flour mixture, continuing to beat.
  • Add the chocolate chips and nuts and your cookie dough is ready.
  • Take two cookie sheets and use a spoon to place balls of dough.
  • Bake the cookies for 9-11 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Cool the cookies for 10 minutes and serve.
