Cornbread in the Pan

With this easy recipe without an oven, you can prepare a delicious corn bread, with the traditional Mexican formula. The best thing is that you will need few ingredients and little time to do it, spoil your family with this delicious corn pancake!

  • 3/4 cups butter, melted
  • 6 ears corn, shelled
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 1 cup cream cheese, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups flour, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • strawberries, sliced and quartered, for garnish
  • raspberries, to decorate
  • blueberries, to decorate
  • icing sugar, to decorate

  • Blend the melted butter, the corn, the vanilla extract, the egg, the condensed milk and the cream cheese. Reservation.
  • In a bowl, mix with a balloon whisk, the previous preparation, add with a strainer, flour, baking powder, beat until incorporated and have a homogeneous mixture. Reservation.
  • Varnish the Vasconia® deep pan with butter and flour.
  • Pour the mixture into the Vasconia® deep pan lid and cook on a comal over low heat for 45 minutes. Let cool and reserve.
  • Unmold the corn bread on a board and decorate with red berries and icing sugar.
