A French dessert, super easy and delicious. It is a creamy dessert with vanilla flavor topped with a thin caramel crust, usually decorated with red fruits and a bit of mint. It is definitely a dessert that conquers even the most discerning palate.

500 milliliters whipping cream
6 egg yolks
75 grams sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
4 teaspoons sugar

Whisk the egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla until thickened and light in color (like a cake). Preheat the oven to 350 F.
Slowly add the cream for whipping, incorporating until the mixture is uniform and smooth.
Place the mixture in a baking tray and cover it very well with aluminum foil.
Place inside another deeper tray with boiling water. Carefully place it in the oven.
Bake for 30 minutes or until it looks gelatinous. Remove from the oven, take off the aluminum, and cool.
Once cooled, whisk until smooth and creamy.
Pour into individual containers, smoothing the cream perfectly.
Evenly cover the top of the dessert with sugar and caramelize the sugar with a torch.
