Cotton Candy Cupcakes

Delicious and simple cupcakes with a childhood flavor from the cotton candy.

  • 200 grams flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 eggs, large (or 3 small)
  • 120 grams sugar
  • 150 grams butter
  • 120 milliliters cow's milk
  • 1 cup cotton candy, pressed

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Butter is beaten with sugar until it changes color.
  • Add the eggs and continue beating.
  • Add the flour, baking powder, and milk, alternating the flour with the milk. Finish with milk.
  • Scrape the bottom of the bowl and add the cotton candy, mixing just until combined. At this step, a little food coloring can be added.
  • The mixture is poured into cupcake liners, filling them only 3/4 full.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out dry.
  • Let them cool on a tray and decorate.
