Cupcakes with Honey Buttercream

If you love vanilla cupcakes, you will adore these, as they have a creamy honey butter topping with a fluffy and soft texture. They also have a lovely presentation.

  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cups vegetable oil
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 3 packages cream cheese, for the cream
  • 1/3 cups Karo ® honey butter, for the cream, plus 5 tablespoons for decoration
  • fondant, little bees and flowers for decoration

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • For the cupcakes, in a bowl add the egg, sugar, vanilla extract, oil, and using a whisk, beat until combined.
  • Add the flour, baking powder, and beat until combined.
  • Pour the previous mixture into cupcake molds and bake for 15 min. Let cool and set aside.
  • For the honey buttercream, beat the cream cheese and add Karo® Honey Butter until combined.
  • Place the cream in a pastry bag with a plain tip.
  • Decorate the cupcakes with the buttercream, drizzle honey over the buttercream, and place the little bees, the flowers, and finish with a touch of Karo® Honey Butter.
