Neapolitan Cupcake

These Neapolitan cupcakes have the combination of three of our favorite flavors: vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry. Fluffy cupcakes with three flavors and the best, creamiest strawberry frosting. Give them a try!

  • 2 San Juan® eggs
  • 90 grams butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cups cow's milk
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla essence
  • 1/2 sticks bittersweet chocolate, melted
  • 380 grams cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 45 grams butter, at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon strawberry essence
  • 2 cups icing sugar
  • food coloring, pink

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a mixer, beat the butter until creamy, add the sugar, and gradually add the San Juan® Eggs.
  • Add the flour and baking powder, pour in the milk, the vanilla essence, and beat until combined. Divide the mixture into two bowls.
  • To one mixture, add the melted chocolate and mix until integrated.
  • Pour the chocolate mixture into the cupcake liners until 1/3 full. Add the vanilla mixture until filling ¾ of the liner, bake for 15 minutes. Let cool.
  • For the frosting, beat the cream cheese with the butter until smooth, add the strawberry essence, powdered sugar, and pink food coloring.
  • Place the frosting in a piping bag and decorate the cupcakes.
