Reindeer Cupcakes

Reindeer cupcakes are a fun and easy dessert; decorate them with your children this Christmas, they will love it.

  • 1/2 cups butter, melted
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup cow's milk
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tub frosting, marshmallow
  • 6 sticks dark chocolate
  • 1 bag pretzel
  • food coloring, red and black

  • In a bowl, mix the cocoa, sugar, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Add the butter, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and mix very well until the mixture is liquid. Incorporate the water and mix well.
  • Distribute the mixture into cupcake molds with liners and fill up to 3/4.
  • Bake for 30 minutes at 180°C.
  • Remove from the mold and let cool.
  • Once completely cool, use a piping bag to add the marshmallow frosting on top of each cupcake. Refrigerate for 30 minutes or until the frosting hardens.
  • Place the chocolate in a double boiler until completely melted and dip each cupcake to cover the frosting in chocolate.
  • Let the chocolate harden. Divide the remaining frosting into 3 parts, tint one with black coloring, another with red coloring, and leave one white. Place in 3 different piping bags, use the white and black to make the eyes and the red to make the nose.
  • Finally, place a pretzel on top of each cupcake.
