Valentine Cupcakes to celebrate love and friendship day.

  • 1 cup flour, sifted beforehand
  • 1 sugar
  • 1/3 cups butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/3 teaspoons lime zest
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/3 cow's milk
  • whipped creams, pink whipped cream

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius, prepare the 12-cupcake tray by placing a cupcake liner in each cavity.
  • Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  • Cream the butter, eggs, sugar, vanilla, and lemon zest for 2 minutes on medium speed.
  • Continue beating on low speed and gradually add the flour mixture alternating with the milk. Beat for 2 more minutes.
  • Pour the mixture into the 12-cupcake tray, filling only 2/3 of its capacity, and bake for 18 to 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool completely on a wire rack.
