1 cup unsweetened yogurt
1 stick unsalted butter
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/4 cups flour
3/4 cups cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 pinch salt
1 cup water

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs and yogurt. Add the butter and vanilla and continue beating. Add the sugar and beat for 3 more minutes.
In another large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and baking soda. Add the salt.
Add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredient mixture and beat for 3 minutes. Add the water and beat for 2 more minutes.
Pour the mixture into 2 greased cake pans and bake for 25 minutes until the cake is done.
Frost the cake with chocolate icing and serve.
